Bake overnight at 250 degrees one butt or shank ham until it is able to be shredded. Let cool and shred.
Add 1/2 cup brown sugar,
1 small jar of apricot jam, and
1 - 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple with the juice.
Stir, reheat and enjoy.
*When I bake one 9 lb. ham it takes about 8 hours to bake. When I bake two hams together it takes about 12 hours.
**Bake in a broiler pan and seal with foil.
NOTE: this photo is not very well styled, but it was the last of the ham and one of the children was clamoring to eat it. This is delicious and all the children love it.
