One of the things I agreed to at RootsTech was to go share a couple of stories on the Mormon Channel and although I love to tell our stories this was particularly difficult, but today as the story was featured and I loved remembering Guelita. It made me appreciate the opportunity to have not only my voice for future generations but the video of Guelita rolling out the tortillas.
It also came on a day when things seemed to fall apart and this felt like a tender mercy of the importance of keeping our record, not matter how you choose to do it.
For the record, my girls currently make more tortillas than I do. They are amazing.
If you would like to hear the quick segment you can find it here: Grandma's heirloom Tortillas.
You can also download the mp3 which is wonderful for my personal history. Thank you, Mormon Channel and Story Mic for this treasure.
I have so much to share, I can't wait to be back.
