I'm not sure why I did not do this before but I finally remembered that I could video tape our dinner conversations about "What be love about.... " the birthday person. It's so much easier to type on a keyboard and keep up, than my thumbs on the phone. More detail.... I love detail.
Rock: I love his smile, because he has a really great smile.
Samantha: He is such an honest person, he tells you how he really feels and I feel like you are a really genuine person.
Whitney: I love his smile. He has such a cute smile. When he's happy you can tell on his face immediately. I love it and missed it while I was gone.
Brick: Something I love about Dash, that he's always (well a little bit of the time) he's nice to me and we play with toys. He's my best friend... most of the time.
Gus: One of the reasons I love Dash is because he is very selfless, here is an example... Friday we had pizza for lunch and there was just one piece between the 7 of us and everyone was asking who is going to have the last piece and he gave up his piece. He's always really sweet like that.
Fred: One of the things I love about Dash is that he's always willing to help me whenever I need help I know I know I can count on Dash. Also I love his face, he has really large eyes and also great cheek bones.
Tank: What I love about Dash is a scientific fact: he has four kidneys.
(Editor's note: when Dash was a very small little person he had an infection that required some testing. In the process of those tests they learned that he has two regular and function kidneys and at the bottom of each kidney is another set of smaller and functioning kidneys. Because they were all working properly and the infection was a more pressing matter we didn't evaluate further and he has never had any problems. It will be interesting to see as he gets older if all 4 are still working.)
Dad: What I love Dash and it's hard to narrow it down, but I'm going to agree with something that Sister Garlick said today when I was home-teaching them today about him. She said, "Dash and 'A' can be a handful and can be messing around having a lot of fun. But sometimes we will say something and Dash will be focused, very interested and taking it all in. He's a deep person."
I think about a scripture when I think about Dash. It's is when a man in the Book of Mormon named "Ammaron hid up the records unto the Lord, he came unto me, (I being about ten years of age, and I began to be learned somewhat after the manner of the learning of my people) and Ammaron said unto me: I perceive that thou art a sober child, and art quick to observe;" (Mormon 1:2-4)
Now Dash is not always a sober child, but he has the ability to be a sober child and quick to observe and I think that Dash is going to be an amazing man.
Mom: Dash, most of the time, is so kind, compassionate, and he takes care of everyone. He does little things for people and notices when people are hurt or there is a need and I really appreciate that about Dash.
Loaf: Every time I'm scared of something that Rock has Dash helps me and he plays with me.
