Our 365 blog is no long in operation. There is something problem with the connection between instagram and typead which exceeds my limited internet skills. I know it's a favorite so I will publish the photos here weekly again. It will take me a little while to update any links that I have throughout the blog. I appreciate your patience in advance.
John sent me this fun email for his blog post of the week. It made me smile.
The other day Brick and Dash were arguing about the ownership of some homework pages that lay on the counter. Dash has the twisted sense of humor so prevalent in our home, and he was targeting Brick as an easy mark for torture, as he claimed the homework pages were his, not Brick's. Finally, in a degree of frustration bordering on uncontrollable rage, Brick in the high pitched, accented, cute voice only he can muster shouted, "This is clearly second grade work that we are looking at here." Brick has such an amusing gift for language for a person his age.
Speaking of torment, yesterday we took family pictures, and because the little boys had to come from a soccer game we planned to dress them in the truck on the way to the photo site. Arnold prepared their clothing, and unfortunately she brought a pair of Loaf's pants instead of Dash's pants. Dash actually looked good in them--just real tight. Of course it was a mistake. Arnold would never do something like that on purpose. I had a dream last night that she did the same thing to me, and that she told me she thought it would be funny. The thing is she is capable of that--just for fun of course. Arnold, on the other hand, had a dream that there was something wrong with our inside stairs and that I was doing an acupuncture treatment on the stairs, which became filled with acupuncture needles. In the dream she walked down the stairs and got a needle all the way through her toe. I told her she shouldn't be walking on the stairs anyway and pulled the needle out of her toe. Even in our dreams we have fun tormenting each other.
One other humorous thing involving Arnold and Brick happened as we were saying what we liked about Arnold for her birthday: Brick said, "Your lips are incredibly nice...you know when you do the gopher girls thing." He is a funny boy.
I love you very much. You are the best.
