I have greater respect for good quilt pattern makers. I don't think I will start a new career, but I was humbled to be asked. I triple checked sizes and numbers, measurements and fabric requirements. I'm sure I missed something. I always do.
My days we filled with little graphics and phone calls to my mom asking for verification on things I couldn't remember from the time of the quilt shop. Thanks Mom. I poured over pattern books and found myself uninspired to write the pattern, but fully inspired to start a new quilt. It was a good experience, but I think I will stick to the fun part of creating.
