In my last post "giving thanks" at the very bottom of the post there is a photo of my journal and a darling little list that Stephanie Ackerman has been creating and providing as a free downloads. Stephanie is a wonderful mixed media artist and a fantastic doodler. I have long admired her work and the little bits of spiritual wisdom that she shares along the way.
I was looking for something different to do in my journal this month. Not just the same written thing each night, do you ever get that way? You just need something differernt. So I decided I would print off all her little "to do lists" and turn them into gratitude lists. Something cute and fun for each day of the month of November. Something different.
A little spot of color and an effort not to repeat any blessings and I have had a lovely beginning of the month. Here are the links to the lists she currently has available: Habits of Happiness, Things to do, Radical gratitude, Attitude of Gratitude, Stuff to do, Junk to do, Habit of Happy, Today I am thankful, Hello Today, Hello list, Just do it, Note to self, Start doing, and Cross the Junk off.
The lists are approximately 5"x 7" and filled with whimsy. The only problem is Stephanie doesn't have 30 lists so I decided to embrace my inner Stephanie and make a few lists to intermix with her darling creations. Mine are not nearly as free and whimsical, but I tired to add some of her line elements so that they might look a little cohesive. Thank you Stephanie for your inspiration.
After about 6 lists I had to get some inspiration for pinterest on new and exciting ways to say "give thanks". There are some amazingly talented and creative people in the world. It leaves me in awe.
I kept with the same pdf format Stephanie used so they would fit nicely in my journal and I printed everything on sticker (label) paper so I could quickly insert them into journal. It's pathetic when using a glue stick feels like too much effort.
I also created a slightly larger version, without the dotted cutting lines, in case you choose to copy and cut in larger quantities for a class or activity. There are two different lists per page and these are formatted as jpgs.
