Since Munch has been home from Italy, our home has been filled with delicious aromas and wonderful food. We have frequented our local Italian market more than my budget would like, but the end result is divine.
Munch took a cooking class while she was studying in Sienna over the summer, and we have enjoyed the fruits of her knowledge. It will be fun to see what she learns on her second time in the country. John is a great Italian cook. He learned quite a bit from the darling Sicilian women in his different areas.
While Munch and the other girls made the pici Loaf found this...
I was photographing this beautiful assortment of amazing meats, but all Loaf could focus on was the peperoni which we bought at the local supermarket as we didn't know what the younger children would think of the new delights.
Loaf was happy with everything on the tray. She adored the olives! All the children enjoyed the meats, baguettes, and amazing olive oil. We were so full from the anti-pasta that we didn't have room for the the pici, but after a few taste bites we saved the rest for another day.
Our quality control guy. He loves to help taste test. We have all decided that someday we might have to get real Italian food in Italy. Wouldn't that be lovely?

Nice Can you send me a foodex package. You know on the cooking Channel Bobbie Deene sends his momma samples of receipies that he has revised of her dishes. I am just saying I could be the food taster as well.
Love,
Aunt Nancy
