today and yesterday

Today is the same as yesterday.

Tomorrow will be the same as today.

I will wake up and laundry, dishes, discord over something trivial will await me. Icicles will still hang from my eves and bitter cold will pierce through my clothing. There will still not be enough time to accomplish all that is required of me.

But today is a little different. The tasks are still the same. My circumstances have not changed, I still struggle with the same weakness I had yesterday and will have tomorrow. However, today is different.

Today I feel absolutely grateful. My heart is bursting with the joy that I am growing because of these challenges. I am moving along the path towards my Heavenly Father. The steps might be minuscule, but the movement is still there.

Hope.

Peace.

Love.

Joy.

Today is going to be a glorious day!
