When this counter is cleaned off, all of the children lie on it while using the lap top. It's certainly not comfortable, but it's close and we can talk while working on our respective projects and once the conversation started like this,"
"A couple of things. First I saw a chicken trip over a tree branch. Second, dinner...."
Now again, these quotes are not all attributed to the children in these pictures, just another series of silly photos that work well with things others have said. Also, I realize that unless you know the children and their different personalities these quotes are not very funny, but they are things that are enduring at this point in my life and I don't want to forget them.
"Mom, what side of the plate does a spork go on?"
"I guess if you are using a spork you aren't really concerned with table manners"
Sometimes I don't even need to be involved in the conversation.
"Mom, a person could lose 10 self esteem points for a zit this big! It's a good thing I've got enough to draw from."
Seriously made me giggle!
Brick: "Why don't we ride the bikes in the garage?" (we have 4 bikes that are currently in the between sizes of our children's heights)
"Because I'm too big for those bikes" (Gus replies)
Brick, "Oh I know what to do, we should just get more short kids."
Remember, he wants to go to the baby store to bring home a new baby. I guess while we are there a few more short kids would be nice too.
Loaf loves her princesses and always asks to watch "sleeping wella" or Belle. Not really a funny "Mom!" thing, but when you are princess of the world you get a few extra privileges.
