I live in my own little world, filled with laundry, homework, and meals. There are days that go by that I forget not everyone lives like me. All over the world there are people who are suffering and in need. I am not in a position to make earth shattering changes, but for today I can do just a little bit. I am so thankful to do some service no matter how small.
It's not a big thing a receiving blanket, but my babies were wrapped in a blanket that was made by someone who loved them. The blankets were cherished and abused, often in tatters by the time the baby was two. Our blankets were loved.
I will never meet the babies who are wrapped the blankets I make or the families who are trying to care for these cherished little ones, but perhaps they will feel the love of a stranger as they swaddle their precious babies.
