there is something quite hysterical about my next project. Every time I pull it out little "I" just starts laughing and it's not funny. So here it is... drum roll
not funny is it.
The reality is the bag (pre-felting) is big enough for both babies to get inside of (I might have to take a picture of that). But I can't felt it until I get the mountain of laundry done (which could take a few days, nasty I know. It's been a week and a week around here is NOT a pretty sight.)
With all the chaos of moving, I have been able to complete a few projects that are in various stages. It's nice to whittle down the unfinished project bin.
Here is the penny rug from this post. I really enjoy working with wool, but I'm not sure how to decorate with this piece. Perhaps in the new music room.
It's does lie straight. I was just trying to hurry as I had a little helper this morning and I was trying to avoid the biting. This is a very bad habit I am hoping we can overcome soon. Of course then be tries to make up for it with hugs and kisses, it's a good thing he is so cute.
the beauty of a camera on my phone.... I can pull it out at anytime for quick shots like this. Playing in the closet. Every closet has a lower rod, which when empty is perfect. I don't know what he will do once we add all our clothing.
He finally decided to start talking. He has the sweetest little voice (a bit high pitched). He so so polite and will always say thank you, never please, but always thank you. Every night he loves to point to the family photo and tell us who everyone is. He cried when I moved it over to the new house. I might have to bring it back until we officially move.
"Big B" wanted to know what color little brother "I" is... white or brown? He said, "He's not white like you dad, but he's not brown like me. What color is he?" We talked about how we have lots of different shades of color in our family, nobody has the same color skin. After listening for a second Big B said, "I think he's white." Then marched off and played with trains.
