Lunch time is a favorite time of the day for me. The house is clean from my morning work, I'm not completely exhausted from the day, and nap time is just around the corner. I miss not having the girls here, Christmas break really spoiled me.
I know it's a bit out of focus, but I had to snap it quick before the tortilla's on the griddle burned. (Dinner time) They were so happy to help. Everything went wonderfully until baby boy learned that smacking the rolling pin on the counter makes a great sound.
Tortillas... started that goal last month and it's coming along quite nicely. I can even roll out the tortillas in a roundish shape. Mom would be impressed.
It's about time I learned and didn't rely on my mother and grandmother, although after listening to author Kelly Corrigan read exerts from her book I don't know about that.
(She has a great YOUTUBE clip on her main page and this link is another great clip about her book: The Middle Place. I am interested in adding this to my reading pile. Thanks Layle.)
