Brushing up on my crocheting skills .... This first one will be fairly basic, but I'll post the finished product once I can get my mom to help me start the heel. I don't really understand the pattern instructions.
so last week it was random images, I'm hoping to post a week of creative images. We'll see... mostly projects that I'm working on. I tend to get bored with something and start something new then come back and finish them. Here is a felted wool penny rug that I'm working on, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the final product so it might get put on the back burner until I decide.
I have this thing about trying to be clean and organized. I know I don't pull if off very well, but every once in a while our house is presentable, especially when my darling husband spends Saturday's helping. He's such a good man.
So here is my Saturday cleaning/organizational tip, something I learned a few years back, I can't remember
where. If you have a large assortment of books organize by color and
your space will look neater. I used to organize our children's books by author and that was not working as the children would not put the books back alphabetically. Can you believe it (said with great sarcasm)? It has not only made our bookshelves look wonderful, but the children can put the books back in the right color. Well depends on the child and their particular mood that day, but all and all it is working out very well.
